FAQ!

Q: How do you charge for your tattoos?

A: The way I charge for my tattoos is a fixed price per tattoo :) This fixed price reflects the estimated time it’ll take (half day/ full day), the complexity of the tattoo, the sizing, and the material cost.

If the tattoo will take multiple sessions, I charge per session taking into account the same factors listed above.

Additionally, while booking your appointment, I collect a non-refundable deposit (unless otherwise discussed) of $100 which goes towards the total fixed price and secures the appointment. For clarity, this deposit is a part of the total price, not an additional cost.

Q: How should I tip you?

A: Although a tip is immensely appreciated, there is absolutely no pressure to tip if that does not align with you. I understand tattoos are an investment; your trust in me to tattoo you and your appreciation for my art and craft are more than enough for me.

If you would like to tip me I accept cash, zelle, or venmo. If you wanna tip in another way I love art made by you, lil handmade crafts, teas, seasonal fruits, plants, and books!

Q: What should I bring to my appointment?

A: The studio I tattoo at is a large, private space that often gets pretty cold. I recommend bringing a sweater or your own blanket, pillow, or stuffie if you please. Bring water!! Or a drink that’ll keep ya going throughout the day. Bring snackies to keep yourself satiated as my sessions tend to go long. You are welcome to bring a book, your headphones- honestly anything you think you’ll need!

Q: What should I wear to my appointment?

A: Please wear something comfortable, but with easy access to the tattoo placement in mind. Please be cautioned that ink might get on your clothing and prepare for that possibility (very unlikely).

Q: Can I bring a guest?

A: You are welcome to bring a companion, but keep in mind that with the style I do your session will most likely be several hours. If they’re prepared for that, then they are so welcome! They can also go around and explore the town a bit and return whenever:)

Q: How long do your sessions last?

A: If it’s a tattoo that’ll take half the day, it’ll take around 4-5 hours or even less if it’s smaller! If it’s a tattoo that’ll take the full day, it’ll take around 7-8 hours. If the tattoo requires more than one session, I will limit each session to 5-6 hours. Please plan to take the day to get tattooed and don’t schedule anything else! Rushing + tattooing = no good for either of us.

Q: Aftercare?

A: At the end of your appointment I will send you home with an in-depth aftercare guide on paper so you can refer to it whenever :) To prepare I suggest getting an unscented antibacterial soap like Dr. Bronner's unscented castile soap, Tattoo Lovers Care foam wash (←my favs so far), unscented Dial soap, or SecondSkin foam wash. I also recommend getting a good light unscented moisturizer like Lubiderm, Hustle Butter, Mad Rabbit, or my personal fav right now SecondSkin Full-Spectrum Tattoo cream.
